This is the picture of star that SungJun, Suhwan, Alex, Ubean, and I made. Every time I see this picture, I think I will remember what happened in GLPS, all the friends and even the teachers. I choose this picture because of these reason. I just tried to follow what my friend posted on Instagram. I will describe this picture as happy, friendship, bright, exiting, and fun.

This picture is when class 8, and 7 taking a golf lesson. One in the picture is SungJun. This reminds me of SungJun miss swing the ball. I will descirbe this picture as exciting, fun, and tired.

I took this photo because it will look cool when I paste it on my blog. This picture is taken from 충무 building during changing m y shoes. Its picture of soccer field, teacher's dorm, constructing building, and golf range. I think its a goo picture because the tree, bridge, mountain, and the fogs look cool. I will describe this picture as beautiful, bit dark, and cool!

This is the picture of Minjok Leadership High school's emblem. I took this photo because one bug was on it. One of the rule of GLPS is, if you step on that emblem, you get red card, so my friends were shouting "red card for that bug!!". I will describe this picture as fun, weird, and unfair!!

This is picture of six 207 boys, one 305, and me. They are not my roommate, but they are my one of the best friend in GLPS. We all have nickname, but its hard to write in English. I will describe this picture as friendship, happy, fun, exciting, and hyper!

This teacher here is one of the most handsome and tall teacher in GLPS. He Mr.Cody Cox, the advisory of class 8, and history teacher. I like him because first he is handsome, second he is humorous, and he is also nice. I will this describe this picture as fun, interesting, and handsome.

Today midnight, the shooting star rained to Earth. This is not the picture that I took. I wait for 5 hours to watch this, but the weather wasn't that good, so I only saw 2 shooting stars. It says this appears once a 130 years. I will describe this picture as awesome, bright, mysterious, and sleepy...

This picture is  picture of word "nerd"written on paper. I found this inside my bed at dormitory. I was bit upset, but also fun. Its pretty neat handwriting. I don't know who did this, but I don't really care. I will this describe this picture as fun, neat, and upset. 

Buket List

I have a lost of goals to achieve before I die. I will introduce 5 things that I want to do before I die.

I want to win the SDRC(soccer league) before I graduate SIS. Our school didn't won the 1st place for long time, so my team and I want to win the SDRC.

I want to enter Military Academy(University) to be military officer of Korea. My dream is to be high rank military of Korea. Also I want to be Brigadier General.

Next I really want to travel all over the Europe before I become too old. I traveled almost all the continent in the world. I really want to go to Europe because there are a lot of favorite countries such as Russia, Gemany, and Switzerland.

I think everyone in Korea wants this. I really want Japan to apologize to Korea and giveup Dokdo before I die. They did really bad thing to us and they don't even apologize. Germany thinks that Nazi is reallt bad, but Japanese think they want to go back to Imperial Japan.

Creative Writing: The Virus

 2014, April 12, the new virus hit the Izhevsk, Russia. People just thought that its a new virus that appears because of global warming. After few month, people realized that those people who got infected starting bite other people and spread virus. The virus started to spread quickly after 4 month. Volgograd, Kiev, Moscow, and other cities near by. Then the Russian said that this are the zombies.

94% of Russia and Ukraine's population are infected by zombies. Then in 2 month 98% of eastern Europe got in zombies. Many countries such as Germany, China, Korea, and Finland send all of their armies to there border, and build fences. UN created special team that makes potions to not get infected by zombies. Every second, 6 people got infected.

In 2015, May 5, virus also spread in the Hangzhou, China, Normandy, France, and Salt Lake City, US. Col.Marshall, Pvt.Foley, and doctor Tchaikovsky are one of the member of special team AZK. Pvt.Foley is in the Delta Force, Colonel.Marshall is the 75th regiment 3rd battalion leader, and doctor Tchaikovsky is the guy who got the Nobel prize.


The top of the UN tell AZK to go around the world and find
why did the zombies appeared and create vaccine for it. Those 3 went to Russia first, to find out whats going on the place where the virus started. After they got there, tons of zombies coming towards there helicopter. Even though they used 82 megs of gun, the zombie us coming more, so they changed the LZ point to other place. Then they found out that there were alive people at Russia. They said that it took about 2 seconds to turn into zombie. Doctor stayed at the UN lavatory to create vaccine with other 341 doctors. 

79% of whole population in the world got into zombie. 19% is still alive and 2% are unknown. Before the zombie virus, there were other virus disasters such as new super-bacteria. 2 agents Pvt.Foley and Col.Marshall found out that zombies are also scared of disease just like human. They have more higher IQ than human. After they send this information to Tchaikovsky, he made vaccine that contains worst disease in the Earth. 

15 C-130 full of vaccine take off from refuge airport. They spread it to Tokyo first, but failed to kill zombies. Then Pvt.Foley said "I will  put the vaccine into my body and lets see if they infects me". Everyone thought that he was crazy, but there won't any way so Col.Marshall let him do it. Pvt.Foley landed on the NY city with 1 USMC squad. The zombies find them out by smelling the fresh blood from alive people. Pvt.Foley was charging towards the zombies. They thought zombie will going to pass the private, but they were coming to him. Col.Marshall run to Foley, and send him to helicopter. The rest of USMC were on the board, but Marshall wasn't. After the helicopter take off, Marshall shout at them "Kill me before I turn into zombie". Foley shoots him and after they leave the NY, Foley cried.

In the laboratory, the doctor got the sample of zombie virus, and insert all the virus and cells that exists on the Earth, but the zombie virus infected all the other cells and viruses. Then he put the super bacteria that happened in 2014 and killed 1,500,000,000 people. He was surprised, because zombie virus couldn't infect that bacteria. He gathered all the doctors to change this to a vaccine. It took 2 years, but it really worked. Zombie wasn't biting people and inserted vaccine. The USAF prepared 5,9000 C-17 and C-130 full of vaccines and drop all around the world where people were still alive. After 97.5% of alive people took the vaccines, people declared the war against zombies, starting from Moscow. 61% of zombies reduced and the last zombie was killed in the Hudson river in 2024. Col.Marshall is ranked up to Brigade General, and got a medal from president. Pvt.Foley also went up to a staff sergeant and awarded. Doctor Tchaikovsky got Nobel prize, but still 6,712,134,981 people were killed by the virus. 

Movie Review: The Wizard of Oz

The Wizard of Oz is very old movie that was made in 1939, so it has a lot of technical problems such as audio and CG. First, the genre of this movie is classical fantasy. The main characters are Dorthy, Toto(Dorthy's dog), scarecrow who wants brain, Tin Woodman who wants the heart, Cowardly Lion who wants courage. The plot of this movie is Dorthy and her dog goes to a place a called Munchkin by the storm. Then she meets 3 men that I already introduced. To get what they want, they goes to Oz to meet Wizard. The Wizard told them to melted the witch. After that they realized that the wizard cannot make their dream comes true, but the wizard gave fake brain, fake heart, and fake potion to them. Dorthy went back to Kansas by the good witch. The scarecrow become the king of the Oz, Tin Woodman become the king of the western country, and the Lion become the king of forest. The setting of movie takes place in Kansas Munchkin, Oz, and western country. In my opinion, this movie is a good movie, but as this movie is very old movie, it also have a lot of problems too. First, every can know that flowers in the small town was all made out of plastic. The CG wasn't really good and the audio was hard to hear. There were also some good comment about this movie.There were a lot of lessons such as home is the best place, trusting you is also very important, and don't trust anyone. 

Goals in GLPS

I will introduce my goals in GLPS. First, in my opinion, a goal is an achievements that people set and try hard to reach those goals. The goals that I am talking about today is a 30-day challenge in GLPS.

My first goal in GLPS is getting at least 5 green cards. To make sure this really happens to me, I should respect and help P/TAs and teachers even the teachers that I dislike. Secondly, I should always be positive and active in the class. Students who tried archery said that if you hit the board that is about 150m away, you will get maximum 3 green cards, so I will try my best to hit the board on the archery

The second goal is to get no more yellow, red cards or EOP. I already got 2EOPs. I will make sure that I always speak English even when I don't see teachers near by me, and don't be late on the class, no bad words, no fighting, and no bullying other students.

I will start writing at least 25 or more essays by end of this camp. I will start writing 1 or 2 essays each day. I won't just write anything down with my awful grammar, I will use the writing/grammar skills that I learned in any classes. I will also write about any topics that is about 1 page long.

I will always try hard for these goals and finally reach them in 30days. I also want to improve my writing skills,and my behavior from these goals.

Self Introduction GLPS

 My name is Jinwoo Kim, and I am 13 years old. I live in Shenzhen,China because of my dad's business,and this year is my 5th year living in China. I was born on April 13th in Suwon, Korea. My school is Shekou International School. I have both parents and one older brother. My hobby is to research about wars between 1939 and 2013, especially those during the Cold War. I also like the sports that involve running a lot such as soccer, touch rugby, etc. My dream is to be a military officer of Korea.
